Babycream (Funky House)
Babycream situated in Liverpool’s Albert Dock is from a breed of new generation bars. A venue that should be treated with respect because of its extravagance. Two floors with plenty of diversity, from a Girls Powder Room where Babycream states is ‘especially for girls to check their make up & have girly chats’ to ‘Virtual World Bar’ in which virtual landscapes are displayed on the walls and footage of the rest of the bar is displayed on flat screens. The drink and food menus are impressive, and if you require a recommendation then try their signature cocktails ‘Cream Lover Pour Femme’ or for the women the ‘Cream Lover Pour Homme’. |

Garlands (House)
Gay / mixed club. Funky House / Hard House, resisdents inc, Dave Booth and monthly resisdent Judge Jules. future line ups include.....BK, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage ,Rob Tissera + Eddie Halliwell.
Wicked Atmosphere!!!
Gay/mixed club. Funky House/Hard House, resisdents inc, Dave Booth and monthly resisdent Judge Jules.
This club has three different ‘bars’ offering something for everyone, with three different types of music. This makes the night more varied.
The ‘Vegas’ bar is the very flash upstairs bar, which is a large room. Resident DJ's play vocal, uplifting, happy house.
The ‘Soho’ bar is situated on the lower level of the club. This is the hard house room where Shan, Jay Brown and Kutski play and surprisingly nearly equal in size to the main room!
The ‘Boudoir’ is the smallest of the three bars – but by no means the least lively. Playing a mix of music.
Garland; a club that doesn’t take itself too seriously and certainly knows how to throw a good party, with theme nights every week.
Future line ups include.....BK, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage ,Rob Tissera + Eddie Halliwell. |

The Magnet (Funky House)
For almost 50 years the Magnet (formally known as The Sink) has been the place to find good music and a friendly atmosphere. The venue has its own well established community of artists, musicians, and creative minded people who give The Magnet its distinct identity. Having played host to music legends such as Gilles Peterson, Roy Ayers, Louie Vega and Norman Jay to name but a few, the Magnet is the place to experience world class music in the truly distinctive and intimate surrounding.
At street level Magnet offers a relaxed mood where you can enjoy your drinks at the bar or snuggle up with friends in one of the cosy booths. It’s the perfect place to prepare for the evening ahead withresidents playing the grooves that help give Magnet its unique atmosphere. There is nowhere else quite like it in Liverpool; you’ll hear jazz, soul, funk, rare groove and Latinesque flavoured beats. “It really is one of the good things in life.”
Downstairs is where the party really goes off. The Sink home of our awesome 13.8Kw Funktion ONE sound system (the quality and clarity of the sound has to be experienced to be believed) and you will hear music like nowhere else in the city. Night after night you will hear the best in live music and the best sets from the best DJ’s from around the world.
You can cool down in the Fish Tank where the vibe is distinctly chilled. You won’t be disappointed by the music either; it’s everything you’d expect from the Magnet, just not quite so loud!
The line-up for the coming year affirms Magnet’s place in the music scene and leaves little room for doubt that it lives up to its heritage. The legend lives on.
