Cabaret Voltaire is housed in the ancient subterranean caverns that underpin the bustling streets of Edinburgh's Cowgate district, right in the heart of Scotland's
capital city.
Open seven nights a week, Cabaret Voltaire is a thriving, twin-roomed venue that hosts some of the best-known club events in the capital.
It caters for all genres of dance music, ranging from the acclaimed house night Ultragroove, to the exclusive Scottish spin-off of award-winning eclectic Leeds club SugarBeat.
Cabaret Voltaire is also a key player in the city’s thriving live music scene. Currently presenting around 30 gigs a month, it stages performances by a wide array of local talent, nationally known artists and internationally famous acts. |

Club Ego (House)
Excellent venue with an array of nights held here from the infamous Fever hosted by the promoters of Taste to the big band sounds of Vegas. Ego is situated on Edinburgh's east side. A converted casino the main room is simple in layout but boasts an intersting array of renaissance nudes that flank the dancefloor. Downstairs (the Cocteu Longe) is a not only has and adequate dancfloor but plenty of seating and its own tropical fishtank. And if all this isn't enough there is also an outside heated patio area.

The Caves (Varied)

Club Purple (RnB)
This club has only opened 5 weeks ago but already it has become a popular destination for both the young and older generations. It is only open on Fridays and Saturdays but both nights are absolute crackers! Because it is smaller than most nightclubs the atmosphere is exceptional.
